This timeline organizes historical information relevant to the City of San Gemini in Umbria (Italy) in a chronological order. It is not a scholarly work though hopefully a useful study tool; you will find that it is a work in progress not complete and probably containing some be errors. We strive over time to add considerably more material and correct any errors. The material and links in the timeline have various provenance; some original, generated by persons working in our program, but mostly from online sources as: Wikipedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and The Web Gallery of Art. We recommend that users be cautious and double check all information to original references. We hope this material will be useful not only to persons studying San Gemini and the surrounding communities but also to anyone studying the history of Italy and of Umbria. We welcome collaboration to develop further our site by users who desire to add additional historical material, date entries, corrections and comments. (check collaboration form).

Language This chronology is done in Italian, English or both. Most chronology entries are short and fairly obvious and, should it be necessary, we provide a link to WordReference.com online dictionary in the heading of the time table. Many of the entries have links to Whikipedia articles. Whikipedia is a free online encyclopedia written in many languages and, should you find the article in a language you do not understand, you can go to the menu on the lower left part of the screen and pick the language of your choice. Keep in mind that the articles in different languages are not translations but articles written by different persons in different languages so they are not identical though they cover the same topic.
